HINDALGA CLUSTER SPORTS MEET 2024-25
Sant Meera English medium school Laxmi Nagar,Hindalga Belgaum hosted Hindalga cluster level sports meet 2024 on Tuesday dated 13th August 2024.The program commenced at 10:30 am. It began with welcoming the chief guest followed by Saraswati Pooja.The chief guest for the program was Meenakshi Hitttalmani president of Gram Panchayat Hindalga.
Guest of honour was Sou.Chetna Agaskekar vice president of Gram Panchayat Hindalga. Shri. Satish CRP of Hindalga cluster, School Betterment Committee Member Ramnath Nayak were invited Shri Satish Patil CRP Hindalga cluster gave introduction speech. Guest of Honour Sou. Chetna Agaskekar vice president of Gram Panchayat guided students. Ramnath Nayak sir mentioned that consistency and dedication must be followed by students .The certificates, medals, files were unveiled of today’s event. Welcome function ended by the vote of thanks by Principal Arati Patil. After vote of thanks Sou. Meenakshi Hittalamani and Sou. Chetna Agaskekar hoisted sports flag. Sports minister Kumari Triveni along with the students took oath. Then Sou .Asha Bhujbal P.E teacher gave instructions to students and provided sports files to respective PE teachers. Then the chief guest inaugurated the Sports Event by playing shot put.

Athletics
Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up. We also participate in inter-school, district, state and national level competitions.

In-house Publications
We have several writers who are encouraged to come up with creations that are regularly published in our in-house magazines. We host a book sale every 2 years to promote our writers and their work.

Performing Arts & Music
With professionals on board, we take pride in training our students in art forms like dance, drama, painting and more. We organize exhibitions, concerts and musical events to encourage our students to own their talent and flourish in those fields.
Co-curricular activities
Co-curricular activities for creativity and motor skill development.
Co-curricular activities are carried out outside the normal classrooms, but they supplement the academic curriculum and help to learn by doing. These activities help students to develop problem-solving, reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaborative abilities.


Mal-Khamba
An age-old traditional sport of aerial yoga or gymnastic postures.
Mallakhamb is a form of ancient martial arts intended as a training aid for wrestlers and ancient warriors. ‘Malla’ literally means wrestling and ‘khamb’ translates to pole. Together, mallakhamb means wrestling on a pole.
Vidyarambha Homa
Vidyarambham Samskara is the tenth Samskara of 16 Samskara of Vaidic Tradition. The child is introduced to the world of knowledge through this Samskara.


Ashada- Ekadashi
Ashada Ekadashi, also known by various other names, is the eleventh lunar day of the bright fortnight of the Hindu month of Ashadha. This occasion is holy to Vaishnavas, the followers of the Hindu preserver deity, Vishnu, as it is regarded to be the day the deity’s sleep commences.
Deepotsav
Deepotsav was held in a grand manner. Guests and parents were invited in large numbers. Parents and students enjoyed the games organized and there was an exchange of Deepavali snacks.

Traditionally Indian sweets are called ‘Mithai’. It is an old tradition of considering sweets to be pure and an offering to the gods. Sweets are a small gesture of greeting people, family, and friends with the joy of celebrating the festival.

Educational games allow parents to build a strong foundation for our children’s emotional, social, physical and mental development, which will set them up with the skills needed for a lifetime.


Bhajan
Bhajan is a Sanskrit word meaning “singing to glorify God.” It is also the name of a Hindu genre of devotional songs and hymns.
Annual Sports Day
The purpose of sports lighting is to provide ample lighting in the playing arena to ensure great visibility for both – the players as well as the audience.


Sports activities as will teach them various aspects of life and give them a change from their academics. Sports Day is a very inspiring and happy day that every student looks forward to.

‘Sport’ means all forms of physical activity. Through casual or organized participation, Sports aim at expressing or improving physical fitness and mental well-being, forming social relationships, or obtaining results in competition at all levels.
Interschool Science Model making competition winners
A series of activities that allows the students to study and do research on the content of the subject, they act by themselves using their abilities, personal experience, and aptitudes to implement the assignment.


A science project is an independent study of a particular topic that uses the scientific method in order to answer a specific question about how or why something is being impacted in our world. A science project is a science experiment. An experiment is a very specific type of science investigation.
